Investor’s Business Daily SIG – In-person
Presented By: Jim Ek, SIG Leader
Investor’s Business Daily’s CAN SLIM investing model is a systematic approach to stock investing. If you’re looking to get rich quick, this isn’t it. This model emphasizes key factors for identifying solid stocks with above average potential. Fundamental and technical analysis are both important considerations used to identify stocks poised for significant price appreciation. There are rules for getting in and getting out of an investment to maximize gains and minimize losses. Pick a solid company, know the best time to buy, and the best time to sell to make consistent gains over time.
1:30 to 2:30 pm
How Would Your Advisor See It SIG – In-person
Presented By: Craig Mornigstar, SIG Leader
Most often individuals only have the experience of their own situation, and not the experience of time and many situations. This SIG is a discussion of how advisors see things from their experience of working with many clients, at all stages of their investments, planning, taxes and risk management stages of client lives over decades. Knowing how advisors see things from their experiences can help individuals improve their own outcomes, and if they work with an advisor, how to get more from the relationship.
